Aims of the project: Deepening of knowledge on physical processes resulting in generation of high-energy particles and X-ray radiation. The interest is focused on special objects of dense magnetized plasma appearing in powerful foreigner as well as domestic installations, on diagnostics with high temporal, spatial, and spectral resolution, on potential applications of these objects for neutron sources, for element transmutation, for laboratory microscopy of cell structures, for radiography, and for modification/treatment of surfaces. The project includes teaching, education of Ph.D. students of appropriate specializations for their perspective employment in this rapidly developing branch of research.
